Metals higher. Dollar and bonds continued to weaken and look to go lower. Quick dollar and bond moves are signaling some financial problems to be exposed in the next few weeks. If foreign central banks are selling their bonds to the Fed, there may be dramatic moves with the dollar, metals, and the markets.
While the markets can go higher and can take in more long money that missed the run of the past few months, the risk of a large downside correction seems to be increasing. Higher prices with higher volume will negate the downside risk.

Eastern Europeans who took home loans over the past ten years that were denominated in Swiss Franc are taking huge losses not only on real estate, but also on the currency moves. Earnings are putting some big percentage gains into some stocks. The big-name stocks aren't going up - more of consolidation. Small, low-priced stocks are still getting big moves. FAZ 6.54 +0.24. With the way XLF failed on price today, am considering holding FAZ through bank stress test results. Some reports speculate $10 billion will be needed by Citigroup, while SNL's analysis has dramatically higher numbers. Based on SNL's tests, Citi would need to come up with $54.8 billion to maintain a 3% tangible common equity ratio. BofA would need $71.8 billion to keep its TCE ratio at the same level. Wells Fargo had the third largest shortfall on a TCE basis, needing an additional $66.3 billion. If there was a binary option, I would take the side of much more capital being needed and that makes me want to consider holding this through the stress test puffery.
